These Terms govern your use of norevyn.io and the NOREVYN platform ("NOREVYN", "we"), operated as an early-access service. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and — if you offer or purchase services through the Network — the Marketplace terms below.
1. What NOREVYN is (and is not)
NOREVYN provides operational recordkeeping, mission planning, airspace and weather awareness, credential tracking, compliance-support tools, and a marketplace connecting customers with independent drone pilots. NOREVYN is not a flight authorization service, is not affiliated with the FAA, and does not itself issue LAANC authorizations, waivers, or any operating authority. The Remote Pilot in Command remains solely responsible for determining whether an operation can be conducted safely and in accordance with applicable regulations, operating limitations, waivers, and authorizations. Aviation data shown in the product (traffic, weather, airspace, TFRs) may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable, and must not be your sole source for flight decisions. NOREVYN does not retrieve NOTAMs; reviewing them remains the Remote Pilot in Command's responsibility.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be legally able to enter contracts. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, submit fraudulent records, or endanger others. During early access the service is provided free of charge; we may introduce paid plans with notice.
3. Marketplace terms
Independent contractors. Pilots on the NOREVYN Network are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or subcontractors of NOREVYN. NOREVYN does not supervise, direct, or control any flight operation.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. The pilot is the merchant of record: the customer's payment is collected by the pilot's own Stripe account, and NOREVYN currently charges no platform commission. NOREVYN never stores card numbers or bank details. Refunds, cancellations, and disputes for a mission are between the customer and the pilot; NOREVYN provides records (quotes, payment status, mission records) to support resolution but does not adjudicate or guarantee outcomes. Payment-processing disputes and chargebacks are handled through Stripe on the pilot's account.
Cancellation. Either party may cancel an unstarted mission through the platform. Amounts already paid are refundable only by agreement between the parties or through Stripe's dispute process. Completed work is payable.
Verification language. Credential states such as "Pilot attested", "Document submitted" and "Reviewed by NOREVYN" describe the review status of records inside NOREVYN, as defined on the page where they appear. "Reviewed by NOREVYN" means a person compared a submitted document with the record. These states are not government endorsements, background checks or FAA verification, and never mean "FAA approved".
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful operations, and no use of the platform to plan or document operations you are not authorized to conduct.
- No false records: fabricated credentials, forged documents, fake reviews, or misrepresenting identity or qualifications.
- No harassment or abuse of other users through messaging or reviews.
- No scraping, probing, disrupting, or reverse-engineering the service; no rate-limit evasion; no attempts to access other tenants' data.
- No off-platform circumvention designed to defraud a counterparty you met through the Network.
5. Records and retention
Mission compliance records are designed to be durable, versioned, and integrity-checkable; once a mission closes, its record is amended rather than rewritten, and amendments are logged. Records are retained while the associated accounts exist. You may request deletion of your account and personal data (info@norevyn.io); compliance records referencing a completed transaction between two parties may be retained in redacted form as required for the other party's legitimate recordkeeping. Site access details (gate codes, contacts) are shown only to the mission's assigned pilot and customer.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" during early access, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOREVYN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, for the acts or omissions of pilots or customers, for flight outcomes, or for decisions made in reliance on data shown in the product. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid NOREVYN in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the product and require re-acceptance. Continued use after non-material updates constitutes acceptance. Questions: info@norevyn.io.
